Everybody is in lockdown because of the pandemic—including Abbie Wu! Like most schools, Pointdexter Middle School is out until further notice, but that hasn’t stopped Abbie’s homeroom teacher from assigning homework: a quarantine diary.

They’re supposed to use it to record their thoughts and feelings, but Abbie has so many that she’s not sure where to start… It’s enough to make anyone feel frazzled!

The last thing she wants to do is write about it, but as she pours her feelings into her diary, Abbie discovers that, even in scary and uncertain times, you can still find humor and hope in the things that really matter.
